Have you ever gotten so into a TV show that it gives you life? Do you ever get so obsessed with a project that you start to forget about your surroundings? Welcome to hyperfiaxtion!

As opposed to hyperfocus, which comes from a state of joy and flow, hyperfixating takes place over a longer period of time and takes up more energy. We as neurodivergents can hyperfixate on anything; TV, movies, projects, food, people, clothes…you name it. Sometimes it can be helpful, but it can cross into risky territory when we forget to eat, sleep, and take care of ourselves.

Join us as we discuss how we know when we are hyperfixating and the ways we take care of ourselves to ride the wave.
